Your first sales come in, the balance grows and the payout doesn't go out. It isn't a block: it's the customer distribution requirement, which ClickBank uses to stop people buying through their own link. Affiliates who know the rule plan their first weeks of cash flow; those who don't think the money is gone.
What unlocks the first ClickBank payout?
- 5 sales from 5 different customers.
- Each of those 5 sales more than 14 days old.
- Sales paid with more than one payment method — not all paid the same way.
The rule applies only once per nickname. Once it's met, payouts follow the normal schedule.
When does ClickBank pay?
The pay period closes at midnight on Wednesday, Pacific time, and the payout goes out two days later, on Friday. You choose weekly or every other week; checks are always every other week. The minimum (Payment Threshold) is $100 by default and can be set anywhere from $50 to $1,000,000.
How do you get paid by ClickBank from India?
- Direct deposit (international): India is on ClickBank's direct deposit list, so the payout goes straight to your Indian bank account. ClickBank converts the currency at its negotiated rate plus a small percentage.
- Payoneer: you connect a Payoneer account with the US receiving service enabled, and ClickBank pays it as a direct deposit; funds arrive in 3 to 5 business days. Payoneer's own fees apply.
- Wire transfer: always in US dollars, from $50, with a $45 fee on top of the $5 per payout.
- Check: the default for a new account, every other week — switch right after signing up.
- PayPal: not available for affiliates.
In a country that isn't on the direct deposit list — Brazil, for example — the options are Payoneer, wire or check.
ClickBank holds 10% of each pay period as a reserve for refunds and releases it after about 84 days (12 weeks). It's money that hasn't arrived yet, not a deduction.
How much does it cost to get paid?
- $5 per payout, any method
- Wire: $45 more per transfer
- International direct deposit: a small percentage above ClickBank's negotiated exchange rate
- Dormant account: $1 per period after 90 days with no earnings, $5 after 180 and $50 after 365
- A balance under $10 is forfeited if the account is closed

On revenue share, the commission on that sale is reversed. On CPA (a fixed amount), you keep it.
