    3. 3

      Fill it in and save

Set Status to Enabled, paste the copied link into Callback URL, choose GET as the Callback method, check Product data and Click-source data and click Save.

    4. 4

    Sales data

Where do I see the data of each Awin sale?

In AdsX, under Advanced Tracking → My Sales: every sale that arrives by notification shows up there, and the View sale details button opens every parameter Awin sent (clickRef, transaction ID and amount, currency, date, commission and advertiser), the Google click ID and the presell the visitor came from.

With AdsPixel active, the same window also shows the click behind the sale: IP and region, date and time, traffic origin and UTMs. The raw content is in the JSON Payload tab.

Awin's Transaction Notifications documentation does not describe a delivery history or a test button. To confirm a sale arrived, check My Sales in AdsX.

    What AdsX does with Awin

    Ready-made postback

Copy the Awin postback URL from the AdsX dashboard and paste it once. No script, no developer.

    Click ID on every sale

The AdsX presell adds the Google click ID to your affiliate link. When Awin confirms the sale, the postback brings that ID back.

    Sales in Google Ads

Each confirmed sale becomes a conversion in your account, so Google learns who buys and bids on them.

    Sales in Meta and NewsBreak

Running on Meta or NewsBreak? The same sale goes to your pixel, and the campaign optimizes on real purchases.

    Full log of every sale

Open any sale and see every parameter Awin sent, the click that started it and the presell it came from.

    Sale alert on your phone

With AdsNotify, every sale shows up on your phone the moment the postback arrives.

What is Awin and how does it work

Awin is a global affiliate network with retail stores and brands. Publishers (affiliates) join each advertiser's program, generate the tracking link and send traffic to the store.

On every transaction, Awin records the sale amount and the publisher's commission. Both arrive in the notification; AdsX records the transaction amount as the sale value and keeps the commission in the log.

To know which ad produced the sale, Awin accepts the clickRef to clickRef5 fields on the link and sends them back in the notification. That is how AdsX ties the sale to the click.

    How Awin tracking works

    1. 1Click

      The presell keeps the click

Someone clicks your ad and lands on the AdsX presell, which stores the click ID and passes it into the affiliate link.

    2. 2Sale

      Awin confirms the sale

The buyer completes the order on the offer page and Awin approves the conversion.

    3. 3Postback

      AdsX receives the postback

Awin calls the AdsX postback URL with the sub parameters, the offer, the amount and the currency.

    4. 4Learning

      Your ad platform learns

AdsX sends the sale to Google Ads, Meta or NewsBreak, tied to the original click.

    Awin notification parameters

The AdsX postback URL already includes the Awin placeholders. You don't edit anything; the table shows what each one carries.

    Awin integration FAQ

How do I set up the Awin postback?

In Toolbox → Transaction Notifications, set Status to Enabled, paste the URL copied from the Awin card in AdsX into Callback URL, choose GET and check Product data and Click-source data. The full step by step is at the top of this page.

I can't find Transaction Notifications on Awin. What should I do?

Raise a support ticket with Awin asking for access to Transaction Notifications. According to Awin's documentation, the option may need to be enabled for your publisher account.

Which field does Awin use to send back the GCLID?

clickRef. The AdsX presell places the GCLID in the link's clickRef automatically, and Awin sends it back in the notification, which AdsX reads to tie the sale to the Google click. clickRef2 is reserved for the AdsPixel click ID.

Does Awin have a notification delivery log?

Awin's documentation does not describe a delivery history. In AdsX, every sale received opens in View sale details, with all notification parameters and, with AdsPixel active, the data of the originating click.

Which value does AdsX record for an Awin sale?

The transaction amount (transactionAmount), in the transaction currency. Your commission arrives in the same notification and is kept in the sale log, under View sale details.

Why does the Awin sale show a number instead of the product?

Because the notification set up in AdsX carries the advertiser ID (merchantId), not the product name. Product data depends on each advertiser having product-level tracking on Awin.

An Awin sale did not show up in AdsX. What should I check?

Check that Status is set to Enabled, that the Callback URL matches the one copied from the AdsX dashboard with no trailing space, and that the presell uses an Awin product. If it still doesn't show up, talk to support through the dashboard chat.

Do I need a developer to connect Awin to AdsX?

No. You copy the postback URL from the Awin card in the AdsX dashboard, paste it into Awin and click activate. The presell already places the click ID in the right sub parameter.

Does AdsX work with other networks besides Awin?

Yes. AdsX receives sales from 31 affiliate platforms, including CPA networks, international marketplaces and Brazilian platforms. The full list is on the integrations page.
