## How to track SmartAdv sales in Google Ads

You create a global postback once in your SmartAdv account, and every conversion starts coming back to AdsX. It takes 4 steps:

1. **Copy the postback in AdsX.** In the AdsX dashboard, open Advanced Tracking → Activate Platforms and click Copy postback on the SmartAdv card.
2. **Open the SmartAdv postbacks.** In the SmartAdv dashboard, click Postbacks in the side menu. On the Conversions tab, click + Postback.
3. **Fill it in and add.** Under Status, choose Active; under Postback Type, Conversion; under Postback Level, Global; under Delivery Method, Postback. Paste the copied link into Postback URL and click Add.
4. **Activate SmartAdv in AdsX.** Go back to AdsX and click Activate on the card. From then on, SmartAdv is available when you create a presell.

## Where do I see the data of each SmartAdv sale?

In AdsX, under Advanced Tracking → My Sales: every conversion that arrives by postback shows up there, and the View sale details button opens every parameter SmartAdv sent (sub1 to sub5, offer, conversion ID, payout and currency), the Google click ID and the presell the visitor came from.

With AdsPixel active, the same window also shows the click behind the sale: IP and region, date and time, traffic origin and UTMs. The raw content is in the JSON Payload tab.

The SmartAdv help center does not describe a postback delivery history. To confirm a sale arrived, check My Sales in AdsX.

## What AdsX does with SmartAdv

## What is SmartAdv and how does it work

SmartAdv is an affiliate network with pay-per-conversion (CPA) offers. Affiliates join an offer, generate the tracking link and send traffic to the advertiser's page.

On every conversion, SmartAdv records the affiliate's payout, in the offer currency. That is the value sent in the postback and recorded by AdsX as your sale.

To know which ad produced the conversion, SmartAdv accepts the sub1 to sub5 fields on the link and sends them back in the postback. That is how AdsX ties the sale to the click.

## How SmartAdv tracking works

1. **The presell keeps the click.** Someone clicks your ad and lands on the AdsX presell, which stores the click ID and passes it into the affiliate link.
2. **SmartAdv confirms the sale.** The buyer completes the order on the offer page and SmartAdv approves the conversion.
3. **AdsX receives the postback.** SmartAdv calls the AdsX postback URL with the sub parameters, the offer, the amount and the currency.
4. **Your ad platform learns.** AdsX sends the sale to Google Ads, Meta or NewsBreak, tied to the original click.

## SmartAdv postback parameters

The AdsX postback URL already includes the SmartAdv macros. You don't edit anything; the table shows what each one carries.

## SmartAdv integration FAQ

### How do I set up the SmartAdv postback?

In Postbacks → Conversions tab, click + Postback, set Status to Active, Postback Type to Conversion, Postback Level to Global and Delivery Method to Postback, paste the URL copied from the SmartAdv card in AdsX and click Add. The full step by step is at the top of this page.

### Why is the SmartAdv postback global?

Because the Global level applies to every offer in your account. You set it up once and conversions from any SmartAdv offer reach AdsX.

### Which sub does SmartAdv use to send back the GCLID?

sub2. The AdsX presell places the GCLID in the sub2 of your link automatically, and SmartAdv sends it back in the postback. If sub2 arrives without a GCLID, AdsX also looks in sub1, which usually carries the AdsPixel click ID.

### Does SmartAdv have a postback delivery log?

The SmartAdv help center does not describe a delivery history. In AdsX, every sale received opens in View sale details, with all postback parameters and, with AdsPixel active, the data of the originating click.

### A SmartAdv sale did not show up in AdsX. What should I check?

Check that the postback has Status set to Active, that the Postback URL matches the one copied from the AdsX dashboard with no trailing space, and that the presell uses a SmartAdv offer. If it still doesn't show up, talk to support through the dashboard chat.

### Do I need a developer to connect SmartAdv to AdsX?

No. You copy the postback URL from the SmartAdv card in the AdsX dashboard, paste it into SmartAdv and click activate. The presell already places the click ID in the right sub parameter.

### Does AdsX work with other networks besides SmartAdv?
