## How to track ProfitPay sales in Google Ads

You create the postback once in your ProfitPay account, and every approved conversion starts coming back to AdsX. It takes 3 steps:

1. **Copy the postback in AdsX.** In the AdsX dashboard, open Advanced Tracking → Activate Platforms and click Copy postback on the ProfitPay card.
2. **Create the postback in ProfitPay.** In ProfitPay, open Flows → Postback and click Add. Under Name, enter AdsX; under URL, paste the copied link; check only Approve and click Create.
3. **Activate ProfitPay in AdsX.** Go back to AdsX and click Activate on the card. From then on, ProfitPay is available when you create a presell.

## Where do I see the data of each ProfitPay sale?

In AdsX, under Advanced Tracking → My Sales: every conversion that arrives by postback shows up there, and the View sale details button opens every parameter ProfitPay sent (sub1 to sub4, offer, ID, amount, currency and date), the Google click ID and the presell the visitor came from.

With AdsPixel active, the same window also shows the click behind the sale: IP and region, date and time, traffic origin and UTMs. The raw content is in the JSON Payload tab.

The ProfitPay help center does not describe a postback delivery history. To confirm a sale arrived, check My Sales in AdsX.

## What AdsX does with ProfitPay

- **Ready-made postback:** Copy the ProfitPay postback URL from the AdsX dashboard and paste it once. No script, no developer.
- **Click ID on every sale:** The AdsX presell adds the Google click ID to your affiliate link. When ProfitPay confirms the sale, the postback brings that ID back.
- **Sales in Google Ads:** Each confirmed sale becomes a conversion in your account, so Google learns who buys and bids on them.
- **Sales in Meta and NewsBreak:** Running on Meta or NewsBreak? The same sale goes to your pixel, and the campaign optimizes on real purchases.
- **Full log of every sale:** Open any sale and see every parameter ProfitPay sent, the click that started it and the presell it came from.
- **Sale alert on your phone:** With AdsNotify, every sale shows up on your phone the moment the postback arrives.

## What is ProfitPay and how does it work

ProfitPay is a CPA network with nutra offers. Affiliates pick an offer, create the flow and send traffic to the product page.

A conversion counts when it is approved. With only Approve checked, ProfitPay calls the postback at that point, and AdsX records the amount sent as your sale.

To know which ad produced the conversion, ProfitPay accepts the sub1 to sub4 fields on the link and sends them back in the postback. That is how AdsX ties the sale to the click.

## How ProfitPay tracking works

1. **The presell keeps the click.** Someone clicks your ad and lands on the AdsX presell, which stores the click ID and passes it into the affiliate link.
2. **ProfitPay confirms the sale.** The buyer completes the order on the offer page and ProfitPay approves the conversion.
3. **AdsX receives the postback.** ProfitPay calls the AdsX postback URL with the sub parameters, the offer, the amount and the currency.
4. **Your ad platform learns.** AdsX sends the sale to Google Ads, Meta or NewsBreak, tied to the original click.

## ProfitPay postback parameters

The AdsX postback URL already includes the ProfitPay macros. You don't edit anything; the table shows what each one carries.

| AdsX parameter | Macro | What AdsX does with it |
|---|---|---|
| `sub2` | `{sub2}` | GCLID, the Google click ID. This is what becomes a conversion in Google Ads. |
| `sub1` | `{sub1}` | AdsPixel click ID, when active. Ties the sale to the presell visit. |
| `sub3 and sub4` | `{sub3} {sub4}` | Kept in the sale log. |
| `product` | `{offername}` | ProfitPay offer that produced the conversion. |
| `orderid` | `{id}` | Conversion ID, used as the sale ID. |
| `amount` | `{price}` | Value AdsX records as the sale. |
| `cy` | `{currency}` | Conversion currency. |
| `at` | `{date}` | Conversion date. |

## ProfitPay integration FAQ

### How do I set up the ProfitPay postback?

In Flows → Postback, click Add, paste the URL copied from the ProfitPay card in AdsX into URL, check only Approve and click Create. The full step by step is at the top of this page.

### Why check only Approve in the ProfitPay postback?

Because Approve is the approved-conversion event. That way, only approved conversions reach AdsX and become Google Ads conversions.

### Which parameter does ProfitPay use to send back the GCLID?

sub2. The AdsX presell places the GCLID in the sub2 of your link automatically, and ProfitPay sends it back in the postback, which AdsX reads to tie the sale to the Google click. sub1 is reserved for the AdsPixel click ID.

### Does ProfitPay have a postback delivery log?

The ProfitPay help center does not describe a delivery history. In AdsX, every sale received opens in View sale details, with all postback parameters and, with AdsPixel active, the data of the originating click.

### A ProfitPay sale did not show up in AdsX. What should I check?

Check that Approve is checked, that the URL matches the one copied from the AdsX dashboard with no trailing space, and that the presell uses a ProfitPay offer. If it still doesn't show up, talk to support through the dashboard chat.

### Do I need a developer to connect ProfitPay to AdsX?

No. You copy the postback URL from the ProfitPay card in the AdsX dashboard, paste it into ProfitPay and click activate. The presell already places the click ID in the right sub parameter.

### Does AdsX work with other networks besides ProfitPay?

Yes. AdsX receives sales from 31 affiliate platforms, including CPA networks, international marketplaces and Brazilian platforms. The full list is on the integrations page.
