## How to track MediaScalers sales in Google Ads

You create a global postback once in your MediaScalers account, and every conversion starts coming back to AdsX. It takes 4 steps:

1. **Copy the postback in AdsX.** In the AdsX dashboard, open Advanced Tracking → Activate Platforms and click Copy postback on the MediaScalers card.
2. **Open the MediaScalers postbacks.** In the MediaScalers dashboard, click Postbacks in the side menu. On the Conversões (Conversions) tab, click + Postback.
3. **Fill it in and add.** Under Estado (Status), choose Ativo (Active); under Tipo de postback (Postback type), Conversão (Conversion); under Nível de postback (Postback level), Global; under Método de entrega (Delivery method), Postback. Paste the copied link into URL do postback (Postback URL) and click Adicionar (Add).
4. **Activate MediaScalers in AdsX.** Go back to AdsX and click Activate on the card. From then on, MediaScalers is available when you create a presell.

## Where do I see the data of each MediaScalers sale?

In AdsX, under Advanced Tracking → My Sales: every conversion that arrives by postback shows up there, and the View sale details button opens every parameter MediaScalers sent (sub1 to sub5, offer, conversion ID, payout and currency), the Google click ID and the presell the visitor came from.

With AdsPixel active, the same window also shows the click behind the sale: IP and region, date and time, traffic origin and UTMs. The raw content is in the JSON Payload tab.

The MediaScalers help center does not describe a postback delivery history. To confirm a sale arrived, check My Sales in AdsX.

## What AdsX does with MediaScalers

- **Ready-made postback:** Copy the MediaScalers postback URL from the AdsX dashboard and paste it once. No script, no developer.
- **Click ID on every sale:** The AdsX presell adds the Google click ID to your affiliate link. When MediaScalers confirms the sale, the postback brings that ID back.
- **Sales in Google Ads:** Each confirmed sale becomes a conversion in your account, so Google learns who buys and bids on them.
- **Sales in Meta and NewsBreak:** Running on Meta or NewsBreak? The same sale goes to your pixel, and the campaign optimizes on real purchases.
- **Full log of every sale:** Open any sale and see every parameter MediaScalers sent, the click that started it and the presell it came from.
- **Sale alert on your phone:** With AdsNotify, every sale shows up on your phone the moment the postback arrives.

## What is MediaScalers and how does it work

MediaScalers is an affiliate network with pay-per-conversion (CPA) offers. Affiliates join an offer, generate the tracking link and send traffic to the advertiser's page.

On every conversion, MediaScalers records the affiliate's payout, in the offer currency. That is the value sent in the postback and recorded by AdsX as your sale.

To know which ad produced the conversion, MediaScalers accepts the sub1 to sub5 fields on the link and sends them back in the postback. That is how AdsX ties the sale to the click.

## How MediaScalers tracking works

1. **The presell keeps the click.** Someone clicks your ad and lands on the AdsX presell, which stores the click ID and passes it into the affiliate link.
2. **MediaScalers confirms the sale.** The buyer completes the order on the offer page and MediaScalers approves the conversion.
3. **AdsX receives the postback.** MediaScalers calls the AdsX postback URL with the sub parameters, the offer, the amount and the currency.
4. **Your ad platform learns.** AdsX sends the sale to Google Ads, Meta or NewsBreak, tied to the original click.

## MediaScalers postback parameters

The AdsX postback URL already includes the MediaScalers macros. You don't edit anything; the table shows what each one carries.

| AdsX parameter | Macro | What AdsX does with it |
|---|---|---|
| `sub2` | `{sub2}` | GCLID, the Google click ID. This is what becomes a conversion in Google Ads. |
| `sub1` | `{sub1}` | AdsPixel click ID, when active. If sub2 arrives without a GCLID, AdsX also looks for the GCLID here. |
| `sub3 to sub5` | `{sub3} {sub4} {sub5}` | Kept in the sale log. |
| `product` | `{offer_name}` | MediaScalers offer that produced the conversion. |
| `orderid` | `{order_id}` | MediaScalers conversion ID, used as the sale ID. |
| `amount` | `{payout_amount}` | Your payout (commission) on the conversion. |
| `cy` | `{offer_currency}` | Offer currency. |

## Send MediaScalers sales where you advertise

The same postback feeds every ad platform you run, without a second setup.

- **MediaScalers + Google Ads:** Offline conversion tied to the GCLID, sent automatically every day. (https://adsxapp.com/en/adstracking)
- **MediaScalers + Meta Ads:** Purchase event sent to your pixel through the Conversions API. (https://adsxapp.com/en/adspixel)
- **MediaScalers + NewsBreak:** Sale sent back to the NewsBreak campaign that brought the click. (https://adsxapp.com/en/adstracking)

## MediaScalers integration FAQ

### How do I set up the MediaScalers postback?

In Postbacks → Conversões (Conversions) tab, click + Postback, set Estado to Ativo, type Conversão, level Global and method Postback, paste the URL copied from the MediaScalers card in AdsX and click Adicionar (Add). The full step by step is at the top of this page.

### Why is the MediaScalers postback global?

Because the Global level applies to every offer in your account. You set it up once and conversions from any MediaScalers offer reach AdsX.

### Which sub does MediaScalers use to send back the GCLID?

sub2. The AdsX presell places the GCLID in the sub2 of your link automatically, and MediaScalers sends it back in the postback. If sub2 arrives without a GCLID, AdsX also looks in sub1, which usually carries the AdsPixel click ID.

### Does MediaScalers have a postback delivery log?

The MediaScalers help center does not describe a delivery history. In AdsX, every sale received opens in View sale details, with all postback parameters and, with AdsPixel active, the data of the originating click.

### A MediaScalers sale did not show up in AdsX. What should I check?

Check that the postback has Estado set to Ativo (Active), that the URL do postback (Postback URL) matches the one copied from the AdsX dashboard with no trailing space, and that the presell uses a MediaScalers offer. If it still doesn't show up, talk to support through the dashboard chat.

### Do I need a developer to connect MediaScalers to AdsX?

No. You copy the postback URL from the MediaScalers card in the AdsX dashboard, paste it into MediaScalers and click activate. The presell already places the click ID in the right sub parameter.

### Does AdsX work with other networks besides MediaScalers?

Yes. AdsX receives sales from 31 affiliate platforms, including CPA networks, international marketplaces and Brazilian platforms. The full list is on the integrations page.
