## How to track ClicksAdv sales in Google Ads

You create a global postback once in your ClicksAdv account, and every conversion starts coming back to AdsX. It takes 4 steps:

1. **Copy the postback in AdsX.** In the AdsX dashboard, open Advanced Tracking → Activate Platforms and click Copy postback on the ClicksAdv card.
2. **Create the postback in ClicksAdv.** In the ClicksAdv dashboard, click Postbacks in the menu and create a new postback.
3. **Fill it in and add.** Under Status, choose Active; under Postback Type, Conversion; under Postback Level, Global; under Delivery Method, Postback. Paste the copied link into Postback URL and click Add.
4. **Activate ClicksAdv in AdsX.** Go back to AdsX and click Activate on the card. From then on, ClicksAdv is available when you create a presell.

## Where do I see the data of each ClicksAdv sale?

In AdsX, under Advanced Tracking → My Sales: every conversion that arrives by postback shows up there, and the View sale details button opens every parameter ClicksAdv sent (sub1 to sub4, offer, conversion ID, sale amount, currency, date and payout), the Google click ID and the presell the visitor came from.

With AdsPixel active, the same window also shows the click behind the sale: IP and region, date and time, traffic origin and UTMs. The raw content is in the JSON Payload tab.

The ClicksAdv help center does not describe a postback delivery history. To confirm a sale arrived, check My Sales in AdsX.

## What is ClicksAdv and how does it work

ClicksAdv is an affiliate network with pay-per-conversion (CPA) offers. Affiliates join an offer, generate the tracking link and send traffic to the advertiser's page.

On every conversion, ClicksAdv records the sale amount and the affiliate's payout. Both arrive in the postback; AdsX records the sale amount and keeps the payout in the log.

To know which ad produced the conversion, ClicksAdv accepts the sub1 to sub5 fields on the link and sends them back in the postback. That is how AdsX ties the sale to the click.

## How ClicksAdv tracking works

1. **The presell keeps the click.** Someone clicks your ad and lands on the AdsX presell, which stores the click ID and passes it into the affiliate link.
2. **ClicksAdv confirms the sale.** The buyer completes the order on the offer page and ClicksAdv approves the conversion.
3. **AdsX receives the postback.** ClicksAdv calls the AdsX postback URL with the sub parameters, the offer, the amount and the currency.
4. **Your ad platform learns.** AdsX sends the sale to Google Ads, Meta or NewsBreak, tied to the original click.

## ClicksAdv postback parameters

The AdsX postback URL already includes the ClicksAdv macros. You don't edit anything; the table shows what each one carries.

### How do I set up the ClicksAdv postback?

In Postbacks, create a postback with Status Active, Postback Type Conversion, Postback Level Global and Delivery Method Postback, paste the URL copied from the ClicksAdv card in AdsX into Postback URL and click Add. The full step by step is at the top of this page.

### Which parameter does ClicksAdv use to send back the GCLID?

sub1. The AdsX presell places the GCLID in the sub1 of your link automatically, and ClicksAdv sends it back in the postback, which AdsX reads to tie the sale to the Google click. sub2 is reserved for the AdsPixel click ID.

### Does ClicksAdv have a postback delivery log?

The ClicksAdv help center does not describe a delivery history. In AdsX, every sale received opens in View sale details, with all postback parameters and, with AdsPixel active, the data of the originating click.

### Which value does AdsX record for a ClicksAdv sale?

The sale amount ({sale_amount}), in the offer currency. Your payout arrives in the same postback and is kept in the sale log, under View sale details.

### A ClicksAdv sale did not show up in AdsX. What should I check?

Check that the postback Status is Active, that the Postback URL matches the one copied from the AdsX dashboard with no trailing space, and that the presell uses a ClicksAdv offer. If it still doesn't show up, talk to support through the dashboard chat.

### Do I need a developer to connect ClicksAdv to AdsX?

No. You copy the postback URL from the ClicksAdv card in the AdsX dashboard, paste it into ClicksAdv and click activate. The presell already places the click ID in the right sub parameter.

### Does AdsX work with other networks besides ClicksAdv?
